Welcome to The Back Pain Guru website! Here is a little information about me and why I created this website.

A Little Story About Me

My name is Laura and I started having pain all over my body, especially my back, about two years ago. I started seeing doctors about the pain right away. They ran lots of tests but could never find the exact cause. Many times I was told that I needed to cut things out of my diet and try lots of different supplements to fix the imbalances in my body. Regardless of these ideas, my pain did not get better and eventually came back with a vengeance.

During this time I was in nursing school, either standing on my feet for long hours at a time in clinical or sitting all day studying for exams. I am now a registered nurse and feel I still have this problem that’s contributing to my back pain- either standing all day at work or sitting a lot on my days off. This has caused a great deal of stress on my body and has increased my back pain. I knew I had to find something to help that I could easily do at home and not have to continue going to the doctor all the time.

I started trying out pain relief products that I read about online and learned of from certain physicians and people suffering from pain like me, and found that some of them worked great while others did nothing. I really did not want to take medications for the rest of my life to manage my pain and was excited to find products that worked well and can be purchased over the counter or online. This is why I created this site – to share with others what I have learned through trying to find relief from back pain and how others can find relief as well.

Why Help Others With Pain?

I work every day as a registered nurse trying to help people feel better and regain some form of their prior lives. Pain, especially back pain, is one of the most frequent ailments I see in the hospital every day, yet most people are not sure what to do to make it better apart from taking pain pills. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t disagree that pain pills are a means to relief, but I am also aware of the growing opioid epidemic in our country and how easily people can become addicted to pills.

For the last two years, I have been striving to find products out there that help me find relief from pain. I wanted something that I could do each day at home that I would find positive results from. I am encouraged by the things I have found and want to share this with others who are suffering from back pain like me. I can optimistically say that several of these items have changed the quality of my life and I want others to experience this relief as well! We should not be living in pain while we try to tend to our busy schedules of work, family, school, and whatever else we are doing each day.

I Want to Share With You!

The major goal of The Back Pain Guru website is to share with others the variety of things I have tried to relieve back pain and which things work and which ones do not. People need to have access to discussion and reviews of products that are on the market today that may help them improve their quality of life. That is why this website was created – to help others find relief from back pain and go back to living their best selves. I am excited to share with you what I have learned!
